Job summary

Procon Consulting in the Washington, DC area seeks a Senior Construction Manager for a long‑term opportunity. Responsibilities include construction management, quality assurance, project controls, design/build, space management, real estate, and leasing of complex construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction management on new construction, renovations, upgrades, or fit-outs, with A/E/C industry experience and leadership ambitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required or 20 years of experience substituted.
• 10+ years in construction management, QA, scheduling, and contract administration on complex projects.
• Knowledge of construction documents, CPM scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-site processes for compliance with drawings, security requirements, and codes.
• Lead construction management and owner’s representative duties across multiple projects.
• Oversee daily CM activities: RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, QA/QC, contractor compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work according to contract documents and safety requirements.
• Prepare reports, risk assessments, and meetings with stakeholders for decision-making.
