Job summary

Kubicki Draper is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle complex construction disputes and manage matters through all phases of litigation in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in construction litigation.
• Experience handling construction defects, contractor disputes, property damage, and related claims.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex construction litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear recommendations regarding exposure, defenses, and resolution options.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Work with experts, consultants, contractors, and other professionals throughout the litigation process
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and members of the litigation team.
