Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction inspection experience, preferably in water/wastewater or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, industry standards, and local codes.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (current).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily on-site inspections for compliance with plans.
• Monitor contractor performance, methods, materials, and workmanship.
• Document progress with reports, photos, measurements, and test results.
• Lead and mentor junior inspector(s) and ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate field and lab testing of construction materials.
• Identify non-conforming work and help resolve issues.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA standards on-site.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during meetings.
