Qualifications

• 4+ years of Construction Inspection Experience required.
• Supervisory experience in construction management/inspection situations is preferred.
• Ability to act in an Owner’s Agent/Responsible in Charge role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret plans and specifications for safety compliance.
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
• Measure dimensions to ensure compliance to plans and codes.
• Coordinate inspection activities and supervise contractors.
• Draft project correspondence and facilitate project meetings.
• Interact with the public, government agencies, and contractors.

Strong Computer proficiency

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Tools

Commercial Mechanical Inspector certification

Commercial Plumbing Inspector certification

Master HVACR License in State of Maryland

Master Plumber/Gas Fitter License in State of Maryland
