Job summary

U.S. Compliance is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Advisor to deliver high-quality construction safety services while balancing field execution with technical advisory responsibilities to ensure OSHA-compliant safety practices across assigned clients.

This role balances hands-on field execution with regulatory accuracy and strong client relationships. The Advisor conducts safety assessments, develops programs, facilitates training, and leads safety committee meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction health and safety experience
• CSP, CHST, or ASP credentials strongly preferred
• OSHA 1926 and applicable construction safety regulations knowledge
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs on active sites
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong documentation and reporting skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Willingness to travel 1–3 nights per month; location: Minneapolis, MN (relocation assistance available)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and regulatory guidance on OSHA 1926 and safety regulations to assigned clients
• Conduct on-site safety assessments, employee training, and safety committee facilitation
• Develop, write, and edit OSHA-compliant safety programs and policies
• Review client deliverables for regulatory compliance and alignment with standards
• Support at-risk engagements and maintain client retention and satisfaction
• Build trust-based relationships with client teams and project leadership
• Represent U.S. Compliance through high-quality field execution and professionalism
• Advise on client safety culture, risk mitigation, and best practices
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and follow-up on visits and initiatives
• Identify risks or gaps and recommend improvements; support scalable services
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve systems and reporting
• Stay current on regulations and industry trends; participate in training
• Support continuous improvement within Construction Safety Services
