B.H. Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Senior Construction Estimator to manage a full range of activities for vertical commercial construction projects in a professional setting.

This role is based in Utah with multiple offices and is not remote, though the location is flexible among North Salt Lake, Ogden, Vernal, and Saint George. Salary is $140,000-$200,000 DOE, paid weekly, with benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience estimating projects in vertical commercial construction is required.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, owners and architects.
• Detail oriented and capable of precise takeoffs and budgeting.
• Understanding of estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan & specification review.
• ProEst, Building Connected, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing projects from initial customer contact through conceptual budgets and final estimate pricing.
• Support price control, design progress budget iterations and final job setup for turnover to operations.
• Assist with project buyout and groundwork for operations team execution.

B.H. Inc., is looking to hire a full-time Senior Construction Estimator to complete a full range of business activities in a professional setting while adhering to the highest ethical standards. BHI is looking for someone who is a well-rounded individual with 5-10 years of experience and knowledge in vertical, commercial construction. Estimators have the opportunity to learn from highly skilled business leaders. Our estimator will assist in managing projects from initial customer/business development contact, through conceptual budgets, design progress budget iterations, price control and final estimate pricing to the final job setup and turnover to the operations team. The estimator will assist with project buy out and set the groundwork for the operations team to execute according to the estimate. This is not a remote position, however the location is flexible. The following are the BHI office locations available for this position: North Salt Lake, UT (Primary office for Preconstruction /estimating), Ogden, UT, Vernal, UT and Saint George, UT.

Qualifications For a Senior Construction Estimator

• 5-10 years of experience estimating projects in vertical commerical construction is required.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, owners and architects.
• Detail oriented
• Understanding of estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan & specification review.
• Solid background with estimating software, including takeoff software (ProEst), bid invitation software (Building Connected), Excel, Word & Bluebeam. Experience with similar takeoff and bid invitation software and platforms is sufficient.

A degree in construction management and estimating experience is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
