Job summary

Fluor Corporation is hiring a Construction Engineer to support project teams by providing technical support to craft and supervision, and to ensure quality requirements are met on the project. You will evaluate techniques, supervise engineers and technicians, coordinate construction activities, and prepare punch lists for turnover.

The role requires strong communication, technical knowledge, and attention to detail; multi-language abilities are valued and eligibility to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with seven years of related experience, or eleven years if non-degreed.
• Strong communication with management, coworkers, clients and visitors.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Support construction efforts with technical support to craft and supervision and to satisfy quality requirements.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard construction engineering techniques with solid engineering judgment.
• Supervise or coordinate engineers, engineers specialists, technicians, and others on assignments.
• Coordinate construction activities and prepare punch lists for turnover readiness.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations on solutions to problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in applicable field
