Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Operations team on a Dallas, TX project. This full-time, in-person position oversees onsite trade activities and ensures construction execution aligns with design and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction/engineering or at least 3 years of equivalent experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Basic understanding of construction tools like Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, BIM360, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials from design and fabrication through delivery and final installation on site.
• Review and validate monthly payment applications for trade contractors.
• Support cost control and issue resolution, including change orders and RFIs.
• Own overall project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
• Read and apply construction design documents and specifications.
• Mentor and develop junior associates on the project.
