Job summary

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a Contracts Manager based in San Marcos, California. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction contract management and familiarity with various contracting strategies. You will be responsible for leading the commercial aspects of operations, interfacing with designers, engineers, and construction teams, negotiating contracts, and managing the RFP process. Competitive hourly compensation of $80.00 - $150.00 is offered along with comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

10-15 years of experience in construction contract management is required.
Knowledge of various contracting strategies including Lump Sum and GMAX.
Experience with civil and infrastructure projects valued at $100MM-$1B+.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial aspects of operations interacting with designers, engineers, and construction personnel.
Understand legal terms in construction contracts and negotiate terms.
Administer the RFP/RFQ process for contractors.
Regularly monitor and report contract status to management.
Conduct contract closeout processes.
