Job summary

HKS, Inc in Houston seeks an experienced Construction Administrator to provide technical leadership on large-scale projects, ensure code compliance, and guide project teams through construction phase activities.

You will coordinate with Owner, Architect/Engineer, and Contractor teams, review submittals and RFIs, visit sites, prepare field reports, and uphold the firm's standards for quality and client service.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in architecture/engineering/construction science or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of construction administration experience.
• Architectural registration or sustainability accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction phase activities for multiple projects, including meetings, submittals, and payment reviews.
• Collaborate with Owner, Architect/Engineer, and Contractor to meet project goals and maintain clear communications.
• Apply knowledge of codes and building systems to project decisions and designs.
• Review RFIs and submittals; manage documents using construction management software.
