Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own consolidated financial reporting for the NACF Finance Consolidations team. You will build models, pull data, and deliver timely consolidated views for leadership on a high-velocity cycle, with clear variance narratives and robust backup analyses.

You will partner across Field Finance, E2E FP&A, Supply Chain, and Accounting to reconcile inputs, surface issues, and drive automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

• Execute consolidated planning and financial reporting with accuracy, clarity, and timeliness — build models, pull data, and produce consolidated outputs for leadership.
• Write clear, structured variance narratives and reporting packages under deadlines.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership reviews and walk senior team members through the numbers.
• Translate financial data into clear, digestible formats — tables, summaries, and narratives for non-finance partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Field Finance, E2E FP&A, Supply Chain, and Accounting.
• Surface data issues and elevate them with root cause analysis and recommended paths forward.
• Execute on the team's modernization agenda — build automation into consolidation workflows and adopt AI tools.
