Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Manager, Accounting - Consolidations and Intercompany in Atlanta, GA. The role leads the consolidation, intercompany accounting, and related GAAP reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, control, and audit readiness.

You will manage a 2-person team, drive standardization and automation in OneStream/Hyperion environments, support acquisitions and divestitures, and partner with Technical Accounting, Tax, and International Accounting to deliver timely financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, and/or finance with 6+ years’ accounting experience.
• 1+ year experience in a management or lead role
• At least 2+ years in consolidation or intercompany role for large, multinational company strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of month-end close processes and general accounting principles.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly OneStream consolidation process including US Oracle financial systems, non-core and international locations.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and impairment testing for investments, goodwill, intangible assets, and equity.
• Prepare and review monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, and flux commentary.
• Oversee and improve the consolidated intercompany process, including governance of inter- and intra-divisional balances and transactions.
• Provide accounting and support for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes.
• Provide significant support for external audits, compliance activities and internal controls testing.
• Support debt reporting and covenant compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across consolidation and intercompany processes.
• Partner closely with Technical Accounting, Tax, and International Accounting support global financial reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, and cross-functional initiatives affecting the company's legal entity structure.
• Lead mapping, testing, validation, and implementation efforts for new ledgers and acquisitions into OneStream.
• Manage a team of 2 employees, including coaching, cross-training, and professional development.
