Job summary

Jackson Walker seeks an experienced Conflicts Attorney to analyze conflicts of interest and professional responsibility, review new client matters, and advise on ethical walls. The role requires collaboration with attorneys, recruiting, and business professionals to resolve conflicts in a timely, well-reasoned manner.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., active bar status, and substantial experience in conflicts, ethics, and risk management within a law firm setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; in-house Texas eligibility preferred.
• Experience in conflicts, professional responsibility, ethics, risk management, or law firm operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze conflicts reports for new clients and matters.
• Provide guidance on conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and ethical walls.
• Assist with new business intake and lateral attorney reviews.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, IT, Records Management and leadership on conflict-related processes.
• Support training and consistency of conflicts policies.
