Job summary

Astrion has an opportunity for a Configuration Manager at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA to support the CSCS program. This full-time, salaried role requires a Secret clearance and focuses on CM plan administration, design traceability, and change control.

Ideal candidates bring DoD CM experience, knowledge of the SDLC, and the ability to develop management briefings. Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience, three in DoD.
• Or seven years of directly related experience with proper DoD certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and administering CM plans; maintain design traceability and integrity; convene and manage change boards; participate in major program events.
• Provide CM/DM, QA, and software engineering support in accordance with CM Plan and Air Force processes.
• Maintain CM files including identification, change control, and status accounting records.
• Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards and Technical Review Boards; record approved changes.
• Support cross-functional change control boards; review proposed changes for operational impact.
• Track data item deliverables; support archiving and data reviews; ensure baseline integrity.
• Work with program management, systems engineers, and QA in an integrated product team.
