Ursa Major is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to ensure hardware configurations across development and production are accurate, documented, and ready for customer use. You will partner with design, manufacturing, and program management to maintain product integrity and enable seamless integration.
Responsibilities include managing system CAD models, eBOMs, and DFM feedback, plus advancing Digital Engineering and MBSE efforts within a fast-paced defense-focused environment.

The Senior Configuration Engineer is a key role that ensures the accuracy and detail of hardware configurations for all hardware programs across both engineering and manufacturing. This role will interface closely with all engineering functional groups, the manufacturing team, and program management to ensure that our products are properly configured, documented, and can cleanly integrate with all customer applications. This role will also support ongoing design efforts related to manufacturability and general hardware optimization.
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $109,000 - $126,700, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
