Job summary

MTSI seeks a Senior Configuration & Data Manager to support the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This role requires leadership and advanced expertise across Air Force C/DM activities to ensure alignment with program objectives.

The incumbent will collaborate with government personnel and prime contractors to implement CM/DM processes that meet AF and AFLCMC requirements, covering engineering data, TO management, and deficiency reporting throughout

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Configuration/Data Management (C/DM).
• Advanced knowledge of Configuration Management, Data Management, Technical Order Management, Engineering Data Management, and Deficiency Reporting.
• Familiar with SAE EIA-649C, EIA-649-1A, and related military/industry standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Conduct Configuration Management planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.
• Work with internal and external customers to analyze CM issues.
• Support internal and external audits and corrective action activities.
• Lead and perform C/DM tasks across acquisition development, production, and sustainment phases in support of Systems Engineering processes.
• Create and refine Configuration/Data Management and Technical Order processes per AF and AFLCMC instructions, guidelines, and standards.
• Collaborate with prime contractors to ensure proper execution of contractor C/DM methods.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance to support organizational goals and mission requirements.

• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills, with the initiative to work independently.

Desired Experience

10+ years of Configuration/Data Management (C/DM) experience.
