Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Roy, UT is seeking a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst to support the Sentinel program on the Roy, UT site. The role involves planning, data management, and configuration activities across the program lifecycle.

The candidate will develop CM/DM solutions, manage cross-functional teams, and prepare status reports for internal and customer meetings. A DoD Secret clearance and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8 Years with a Bachelor's degree, 6 Years with a Master's degree, 4 Years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of direct Configuration Management or Data Management experience can be considered in 'lieu of' a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• Experience with Microsoft tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams
• 2 years’ experience with configuration management or data management processes
• Experience working cross-functional integration teams ensuring consistent alignment and maintaining cost and schedule

Responsibilities

• Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting
• Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes
• Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance
• Plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives
• Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested
• Represent your organization as a prime contact on your assigned contract or project
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and reporting status
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress
• Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings
• Conduct risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization, and ensure compliance to customer and program risk management requirements
