Job summary

BHI is seeking a Senior Concrete Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for concrete projects, perform takeoffs, and price effectively. The role involves evaluating plans, visiting sites to assess conditions, and collaborating with team members to craft comprehensive estimates.

This full-time position offers a salary range of $140,000 to $198,000 per year, paid weekly, with benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 5-10 years of experience as an estimator for concrete projects.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners.
• Ready to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek and Estimate(B2W).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, conduct takeoffs and pricing.
• Evaluate project plans and specifications, visit project sites to understand site conditions and limitations, and collaborate with team members to build comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure estimates align with scopes, budgets and schedules.
