Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a COMSEC Responsible Officer at the Poway, CA site to administer security programs for collateral, SAP, and SCI.

You will manage COMSEC equipment, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with NSA/DoD directives while coordinating with government agencies and internal teams. The role requires extensive COMSEC experience, TS clearance or eligibility, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of classified security experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Experience with DoD/NSA processes and national security policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate all COMSEC security activities per policy and regulations.
• Plan, develop, and manage COMSEC programs for collateral, SAP, and SCI.
• Act as primary COMSEC Responsible Officer for equipment and documents.
• Investigate violations, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead training and provide guidance to staff; maintain confidentiality.
