Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of professional classified security experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Experience with DoD processes/regulations or equivalent regulatory environment.
• Thorough knowledge of NISP, NISPOM, NISPOM SUP, JAFAN, ICD.
• Experience supporting COMSEC activities in SAP/SCI environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate security activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safeguarding National Security Information.
• Establish liaison with government agencies, customers, contractors, and managers.
• Plan and manage COMSEC security programs for collateral and SAP programs.
• Act as COMSEC Responsible Officer for incoming/outgoing equipment and documents; develop SOPs.
• Investigate COMSEC violations and recommend preventive actions.
• Enforce visitor control per NISPOM; maintain personnel and COMSEC records.
• Brief and debrief COMSEC user personnel; provide leadership and training.
