Job summary

AeroVironment in the United States seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to develop computer vision and ML solutions for defense and commercial applications. You will work on end-to-end development from requirements to validation within small design teams.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong skills in Python, C/C++, Matlab, and deep learning frameworks, and the ability to deploy ML in aircraft or robotic systems. US citizenship and ITAR compliance are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Vision and Machine Learning or related field as required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in ML/CV.
• Familiarity with C/C++ and Matlab.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer vision and ML algorithms for detection, classification, localization, and tracking.
• Write and test software to integrate ML into aircraft and robotic systems.
• Analyze data distributions and visualize data for insights.
• Design experiments to validate ML models and ensure performance.
