Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to own the full ML stack for the Counter Intrusion team, designing and training multi-sensor object detection models for edge devices.

You will develop learning algorithms to optimize autonomous systems, build data collection and training infra, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to push cutting‑edge defense tech into production.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in ML, Robotics or CS with emphasis on CV
• 6+ years of ML/CV experience on large datasets
• Strong C++ on Linux and Python with PyTorch/JAX/TF

Responsibilities

• Propose and prototype innovative solutions using state-of-the-art techniques
• Develop and maintain core ML pipelines
• Train and deploy deep learning models for real-time applications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with camera, systems and labeling teams
• Curate datasets and provide mentorship to junior engineers
