Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory seeks a Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced visual systems in defense, security, and disaster response contexts.

You will create and test CV algorithms, integrate multi-source data, and advance geospatial reasoning, reporting results and collaborating with sponsors and researchers across teams at ARL in State College, PA, on-site with potential hybrid options.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience if applying as advanced professional.
• No required certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and report on computer vision algorithms.
• Combine multi-source data with modeling to relate objects to signatures.
• Develop information from geospatial data for world events analysis.
• Provide technical guidance, report results, and advise on new techniques.
• Engage in research from proof-of-concept to production systems.
• Collaborate on programs as part of a team.
