Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in a role such as Computer Vision Scientist, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, or similar; 3+ years preferred.
• Excellent programming skills in Python with industry ML/DL experience.
• Hands-on industry experience with PyTorch or major DL framework.
• Strong practical experience applying DL to CV problems (segmentation, detection, classification).
• Ability to evaluate model performance and data quality and translate findings into improvements.
• Experience developing production-ready ML solutions and collaborating with software teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for specialized use cases.
• Design and build custom deep learning architectures tailored to business requirements.
• Develop models for semantic segmentation, object detection, and image classification.
• Evaluate model accuracy, robustness, quality, and data source suitability.
• Develop clean, scalable Python and machine learning code for production use.
• Partner with application teams to integrate CV/DL models into existing apps and production environments.
• Own the complete model development lifecycle from data assessment to post-production support.
• Conduct research to identify new CV/DL techniques and evaluate their applicability.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to colleagues and leadership.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and participate in recruiting efforts.
• Collaborate across functions to translate complex CV challenges into scalable solutions.
