Job summary

NSA seeks Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture using commercial and government hardware, software, networking, and security products. You will analyze research, adopt evolving project requirements, and map legacy data to logical and physical models.

You will collaborate with technical teams to identify, evaluate and recommend solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and enterprise standards. U.S. citizenship and security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with CS concentration.
• Experience in design/development of computer/information systems lifecycle.
• Military training like JCAC counted towards experience where applicable.
• Grounds for entry: Bachelor's + 3 years, Master's + 1 year, Doctoral + 0 years, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis and changes per project needs.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging tech, and vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to propose technical solutions.
• Produce compliance results for project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define data requirements and map legacy data to data models.
• Propose standard data transport between IT systems and knowledge databases.
• Align enterprise data models with physical data models.
