Qualifications

• PhD required focusing on computational biology or related field.
• 3+ years analyzing large-scale genomic and transcriptomic datasets (e.g., scRNA-seq, spatial omics).
• Strong grounding in statistics and probabilistic modeling for single-cell methods.
• Fluency with the modern Python single-cell stack and ability to extend it.
• Curiosity, scientific rigor, and ability to interpret complex biological data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data from novel microfluidic assays and therapeutic programs, including single-cell transcriptomics and multimodal readouts.
• Collaborate with ML team to ground models in biology by defining tasks, labels, and evaluations.
• Develop statistically grounded methods for novel assays and contribute to AI-first computational biology.
• Provide careful, detailed data analyses and assess how methods affect findings.
• Maintain breadth across current methods and choose the best approach for each question.
• Operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup and help shape the computational biology roadmap.
