Job summary

Techno Consult Engineering, PC (Techno) seeks a hands-on Manager, Comptroller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and partner with project teams and senior leadership to improve financial visibility and performance.

The role focuses on core accounting, project accounting, cash flow, and lending-related reporting, with an emphasis on scalable processes and strong internal controls for a growing firm.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
• Experience with ERP systems (Deltek preferred) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Core Accounting & Close: manage general ledger activities, supervise team, assist in financial statements.
• Project Accounting & Operational Support: review project setup, WIP reporting, project profitability, labor utilization.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital: forecast cash flow, monitor A/R aging and collections, improve billing cycles.
• Asset-Based Lending & Financial Reporting: prepare borrowing base certificates, assist lender reporting, contribute to leadership reports.
• Reporting & Analysis: analyze data, provide insights for decisions, develop SOPs and scalable workflows.
