Job summary

Pittsburgh Tomorrow in Canonsburg, PA seeks a Sr Component Level Electronics Test Technician (2nd shift) to support engineering activities including design, test, modification and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.

You will diagnose analog, digital, and power electronics at the component level, use oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, document failure modes, and collaborate with production and quality teams. On-site only.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electronic assemblies at the component level.
• Strong understanding of analog/digital/power electronics concepts and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform component-level troubleshooting on analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics assemblies.
• Analyze circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to isolate faults.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Apply electronics theory to fault analysis and identify failed or out-of-spec components.
• Conduct functional and environmental tests to verify repairs and document failure modes and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to production, engineering, and quality teams; assist in developing test plans and repair documentation.
