Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Experienced Senior, Compliance & Monitoring to support the Compliance & Monitoring team with timely analysis, processing, and review of grant compliance docs to meet federal and state rules.

The role provides second-level review, ensures audit-ready records, collaborates with program teams, and strengthens internal controls. Remote/work options are available per needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Law from an accredited university, required
• Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Four (4) or more years of professional office experience including finance, accounting, audit, and/or compliance
• Knowledge of 2 CFR and 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements
• Experience with federally funded programs and rural healthcare initiatives, preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office; data analysis tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist program analysts in planning and conducting internal QA/QC reviews and prepare detailed reports
• Perform second level review of grant compliance documentation to verify completeness and accuracy
• Contribute to development and improvement of compliance, monitoring, and internal control processes
• Work with program teams to resolve identified issues to conclusion
• Communicate applicable regulations to stakeholders in collaboration with SMEs
• Identify training opportunities and support capacity-building efforts
• Review internal and external presentations and reports on a regular basis
• Support data entry accuracy and maintenance of program records
• Other duties as required
