Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Experienced Senior, Compliance & Monitoring to analyze and review grant compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.

The role provides second level review, maintains audit-ready records, and communicates regulatory requirements to support consistent implementation. It delivers technical assistance, prepares reports, and strengthens internal controls and monitoring practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Law required.
• Four (4) or more years of professional office experience including finance, accounting, audit, and/or compliance.
• Knowledge of federal funded programs, 2 CFR, and Uniform Guidance preferred.
• Proficiency with data analysis and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal QA/QC reviews and prepare detailed reports.
• Perform second level review of grant compliance documentation.
• Contribute to improving compliance, monitoring, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with program teams to resolve issues to closure.
• Communicate regulations to stakeholders in collaboration with SMEs.
• Provide training and capacity-building support as needed.
• Review presentations and reports on a regular cadence.
• Support data entry accuracy and maintenance of records.
