Job summary

Klinedinst PC is seeking a California-licensed attorney with 5 to 8+ years of general and business litigation experience to join our Irvine office. The ideal candidate will independently handle cases, with strong advocacy, organizational, and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to complex litigation.

Experience in discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation is preferred. Insurance defense experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• California-licensed attorney with 5–8+ years of general and business litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience in business, general liability, or financial services litigation preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to independently handle cases.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases and develop case strategy.
• Structure discovery plans and take/defend depositions.
• Manage document-intensive litigation matters and draft dispositive motions.
• Prepare for trial and coordinate with clients and experts.
• Advocate effectively in complex litigation, with optional insurance industry exposure.
