Job summary

City of Boise’s Human Resources team seeks a senior technical expert to lead compensation and classification work, including market analysis, salary structures, and job evaluation. You will translate complex compensation data into clear findings and actionable recommendations while guiding projects to completion.

You will provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship, partnering with the Total Rewards Senior Manager on the most complex matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus four years of compensation, classification, HR analytics, or related experience.
• Experience with market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, and data analysis.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of the City’s compensation methodology and market analyses.
• Lead classification studies and job evaluations using established methodology.
• Design, analyze, and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and compensation programs.
