Under direction, you will supervise staff, conduct outreach, collect information, and communicate needs to agencies. The role combines field and office work, with duties ranging from interviews to reporting and mediation between communities and government partners.

Competenze

• Four years of full-time experience in counseling, community work or community health activities.
• Experience coordinating with city agencies, residents, and community organizations.

Mansioni

• Interviews local residents, landlords, government personnel, business people and youths to solicit support for community development programs.
• Explains programs and policies to community groups and to community liaison contacts and interprets and relays information from the community.
• Participates in planning, organization and implementation of programs involving community participation.
• Directs staff or coordinates field office operations or operational units.
