Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time driver for our assisted living community. You will transport residents to medical appointments and outings, assist in and out of vehicles, and perform light administrative tasks to support daily operations.

A safety-first attitude, excellent listening and customer service, and availability on weekends and holidays are essential. Prior experience in senior care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Prior experience driving in a senior living setting is strongly preferred.
• Friendly and accommodating demeanor.
• Excellent listening skills and communication.
• Ability to interact with residents in a positive and helpful manner.
• Strong customer service skills are a must.
• Genuine interest in the safety and well-being of residents.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled physician appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle and provide a comfortable environment during transport.
• Perform light office work as needed to support daily operations.
• Inspect the company vehicle before and after trips.

Job description

Calyx Living is actively seeking a Part Time Driver for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh!

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to transporting residents to scheduled physician appointments, outings, performing light office work, assisting residents in and out of vehicle, inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips, and providing a comfortable environment for seniors as they're transported to various off- site events.

Must have a "safety first" attitude towards all of our residents and staff.

• Current NC Driver's license
• Prior experience driving in senior living setting strongly preferred
