Job summary

Qualifications

• Pest control QAL/QAC certification is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Have a valid CA driver license without restrictions.
• Chemical application education preferred.
• Previous application experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fumigation schedules, coordinate with all depts and ensure proper fumigant use based on requirements.
• Ensuring proper sealing and containment of fumigants to maximize effectiveness.
• Inspecting facilities and commodities for pest infestations before and after treatment.
• Maintaining detailed records of fumigation activities and compliance with safety regulations.
• Operating specialized equipment and monitoring environmental conditions during treatments.
• Communicating supply needs back to management to allow for timely ordering.
• Interaction with Sanitation / Pest Control Supervisor, FSQA Manager, Operators, Co-workers.
• Clean and remove pesticides after application as well as cleaning the worksite after completion of job.
