Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings/specifications.
• Read, understand, and interpret sequences of operations.
• Minimum of five years of commissioning experience.
• Experience with central plants, chiller and boiler systems.
• Knowledge of building management controls systems.
• Experience with large properties.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with big-picture focus.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observations, review contract documents, develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical, data center electrical knowledge and controls systems.
• Execute and interpret performance testing, install and use testing equipment and analyze data.
• Contribute to engineering teams in commissioning and energy consulting on complex projects for local and national clients.
• Assist in building and improving advanced spreadsheet models and calculators.
• Develop commissioning and retro-commissioning check sheets and test protocols.
• Complete written commissioning reports and communicate results to clients and stakeholders.
• Research new technologies and stay up to date on industry trends.
• Drive internal efficiency through tools, technology, and process development.
