Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. seeks a Commissioning Manager to lead the full lifecycle of commissioning for new construction and retrofit projects.

You will ensure all building systems are commissioned in line with Owner’s Project Requirements and contractual obligations, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. Responsibilities include developing commissioning schedules, managing resources on site, and integrating commissioning plans into the master project schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, materials, installation practices and tolerances.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning processes; certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of BAS/BMS, including environmental controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of commissioning activities for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Develop scheduling for commissioning that aligns with the master project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to meet commissioning milestones.
• Ensure all building systems are commissioned per OPR and contractual requirements.
• Support startup activities and documentation, including testing protocols and checklists.
