Job summary

Carter Machinery Company in Charlotte, NC seeks a Commissioning Manager to coordinate the on-site installation and startup of equipment, working closely with Project Managers and customers to ensure timely, safe startup and seamless handoff. You will lead site inspections, contractor interfaces, and the commissioning process.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, managing multiple start-up sites, guiding CMCo technicians, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to meet project

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in construction management.
• Experience managing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job-site installation and startup of equipment with Project Managers and customers.
• Perform site inspections and reports, manage contractor interfaces, and guide CMCo technicians on site.
• Read wiring diagrams and layout drawings and respond to submittals and specifications.
