Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer for a growing EPC, full-time, based in our Houston office with offshore travel as required. You will support commissioning planning and execution from design review through procedures, systems completion, and handover, leading the commissioning execution pack and ensuring QA/QC standards and clear documentation.

The role demands 8+ years of relevant experience, strong written and verbal communication, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commissioning/related experience.
• Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as per project demands.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commissioning Manager in delivering safe, well-documented commissioning.
• Own the commissioning execution pack: plans, system procedures, check sheets, and schedule logic.
• Lead design-review input and define pre-startup sequences (nitrogen leak testing, purging, vessel fills, train circulation).
• Set the systems-completion strategy at kickoff and maintain through execution.
• Control progress reporting, raise/close technical queries, and resolve issues to avoid handover delays.
• Align operations, subsea, export pipeline, and other disciplines for clean handover of systems.
• Maintain documentation standards—weekly updates, QA/QC, lessons learned, and bid or proposal material.
