A leading engineering firm in Kansas City is seeking a Staff Commissioning Engineer to manage commissioning activities for projects. This role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery. Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with experience in facility systems commissioning. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct commissioning or related experience in startups and testing of a variety of facility systems.
• Certification in the Commissioning Process, Energy Management, and/or LEED Accreditation is a plus.
• Successful completion of OSHA 30-hour Safety Training Course is required within the first 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Manage and execute commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy-related projects.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklists and functional test documentation.
• Perform site visits to coordinate commissioning, evaluate new and existing systems.
