• Conduct portfolio-wide analyses to identify strategic whitespace and inform investment direction.
• Develop commercialization strategies prioritizing high-impact areas with ROI.
• Provide advanced commercialization support and technical expertise to program teams.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to support technology transition.
• Advise on and support execution of transition-focused programs.
• Track and analyze commercialization outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate complex scientific, technical, and commercial concepts to varied audiences.
• Contribute to strategic planning, brainstorming, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Support portfolio commercialization efforts through whitespace and ROI analyses.
• Lead creation of business-focused assets (e.g., reimbursement models, customer discovery frameworks).
• Conduct commercial gap analyses to identify risks and performer support needs.
• Ensure vendor-produced commercialization analyses are accurate and actionable.

Valiant Harbor International is seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Commercialization Advisor to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Project Accelerator Transition Innovation Office (PATIO). This individual will work across ARPA-H’s entire program portfolio, identifying transformative health technologies and accelerating their path to market. The successful candidate will provide deep commercialization expertise and strategic insight to guide agency investments and ensure high-impact innovations successfully transition to real-world use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work holistically across the full ARPA-H program portfolio to identify unmet needs and high-potential commercialization opportunities.
• Conduct portfolio-wide analyses to identify strategic white space and inform investment direction.
• Develop commercialization strategies prioritizing areas with high transformative impact and return on investment (ROI).
• Provide advanced commercialization support and technical expertise to program teams.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that support technology transition.
• Advise on and support execution of transition-focused programs.
• Track and analyze commercialization outcomes, recommending process improvements.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

• Three or more years of experience within an ARPA or ARPA-like organization.

Travel: Yes, some travel anticipated.

Salary Range: Negotiable; $120k-$180k annual salary.
