Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Commercial Title Examiner to join our Houston, Austin, or Dallas presence.

You will abstract and analyze chain of title, perform online searches, and examine ownership, encumbrances and deeds to close properties across residential, acreage, builder, commercial and energy segments. The role requires 3-5 years in Texas commercial title work or 1-3 years in commercial energy titles, with strong detail orientation, problem solving, and the ability to

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Texas Commercial Title Examiner or 1-3 years’ experience as a Commercial Energy Title Examiner.
• National experienced desired but not required.
• Must be proficient in abstracting and examining complex properties.
• Detail orientated, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to multi-task, able to work independently, balance multiple projects while still reaching deadline goals.
• Required to be able to abstract back to Patent, examine, create title commitments and hyperlink. Able to do proformas a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and analytical review skills required both verbal and written.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid or in-house if needed.
• Ability to work overtime to hit deadlines as needed.
• Must be able to obtain state license(s) if required.
