Job summary

Eskola, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Senior Estimator to lead and mentor the estimating team across the Southeast. This full-time role develops accurate, profitable project estimates for complex roofing and waterproofing systems, collaborating with business development, operations, and leadership to win work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Advanced proficiency with The EDGE V.12 estimating software.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, metal roofing, coatings, and waterproofing.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, blueprint interpretation, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience preparing negotiated proposals, conceptual budgets, and design-build estimates.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate project profitability and risk.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimator for large, complex projects; multi-million-dollar contracts.
• Review drawings, specs, bid documents; perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions, logistics, safety, and risk.
• Prepare complete cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts, general conditions, overhead, and profit.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, proposals, and clarifications with profitability review.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, and owners; negotiate pricing.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators; establish estimating standards.
• Participate in bid reviews and pre-construction meetings; support Go/No-Go decisions.
