Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks a Commercial Risk Pricing Supervisor (Finance) to lead the design and maintenance of forward and market curves for the trading portfolio. You will guide analysts, ensure data quality, and collaborate with IT, Risk, and Accounting on system improvements, ETRM valuations, and risk reporting.

Ideal candidates bring deep energy market knowledge, derivatives expertise, and proven supervisory skills to drive performance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7+ years in commodity market risk management; supervisory experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of exchange derivative contracts and price reporting methodologies.
• Experience leading risk processes, IT systems, and improving performance in a risk pricing context.

Responsibilities

• Lead curve development and maintenance of forward and market curves for all physical and derivative products in the ETRM system.
• Manage workflow of the commercial pricing/risk team and support professional development.
• Guide analysts in configuring price curves, market data, and valuation parameters within ETRM.
• Provide SME oversight for complex derivatives, structured products, and valuation models.
• Validate portfolio valuations and support reconciliation withFinance, Accounting and Treasury.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Risk Control, IT and Accounting to drive pricing and risk automation.
• Ensure compliance with CITGO policies, SOX controls, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ETRM upgrades and new analytics tools affecting curves and pricing.
• Serve as SME for portfolio valuation, price exposure, and risk analytics for internal partners.
