Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a senior Commercial Refrigeration Pipefitter/Installer to install piping and equipment for supermarket and large commercial refrigeration systems. You should read plans, lay out installations, and deliver high-quality brazed joints, guiding projects from rough-in to start-up.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience, the ability to work from plans, and readiness to travel or relocate within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience installing piping and equipment for supermarket or large commercial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to independently lay out and complete refrigeration piping installations from plans and field conditions.
• Strong brazing skills, including experience brazing larger-diameter copper refrigeration piping.
• Knowledge of nitrogen-purging, pressure-testing, leak-testing, evacuation, and charging procedures.
• Experience installing and connecting rack refrigeration systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial refrigeration systems for supermarkets and large facilities.
• Lay out, fabricate, fit, and install refrigeration piping per plans and job-site conditions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate installation work with project managers and other trades.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials.
