Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Plumbers III to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The role involves cutting, gluing, welding, and installing piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems for mission-critical facilities across data centers, healthcare, and manufacturing.

The position requires travel and has a strong emphasis on quality control, adherence to plumbing codes, and collaboration with project teams. A high school diploma or GED and OSHA 30 certification are required, along with 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure-test pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, and gas systems in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or per work orders.
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
• Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Receive and complete work orders.
• Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
• Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
• Work with supervisors to complete projects.
