Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a senior professional to oversee relationships with contract manufacturing organizations and contract packaging organizations within our supply chain, ensuring performance, compliance, and timely production.

You will lead cross-functional discussions, manage budgets, schedules and risk, and drive supplier management processes, including RFQ/RFP/SOW support, with a focus on solid oral dosage production.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or Science with 8+ years in CMC manufacturing or related.
• Experience with solid oral dosage product packaging and drug substance operations.
• Exposure to US/EU regulatory expectations and GMP requirements.
• Proven track record in supplier management, RFQs, RFPs and SOWs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMOs/CPOs relationships and performance, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Oversee contract manufacturing quality, schedule, and cost controls.
• Develop and enforce supplier management processes and scorecards.
• Support RFQ/RFP/SOW preparation and negotiations.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure cGMP compliance.
• Drive process improvements and cost optimizations across suppliers.
