Job summary

Equinix, in the United States, seeks a Senior Commercial Manager - Data Analytics to lead commercial management across expansion projects in the region, driving cost efficiency and robust financial controls while modernizing analytics capabilities and enabling AI-driven insights. You will guide budgeting, vendor negotiations, and risk management, harness Power BI and SQL, and build automated reporting.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of professional experience ideally in data center or mission-critical system design, construction and costing.
• Demonstrated data analytics experience, ideally with Power BI and SQL queries.
• Experience creating Power Apps and automating workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, business, finance or a related field preferred.
• RICS accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for the planning and monitoring of construction projects from start to completion.
• Monitor the financial close-out on all projects including settlement of all vendors.
• Report status, successes, challenges and key activities to senior management.
• Develop, manage and be accountable for achievement of key commercial metrics.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and develops best practices.
• Oversees cost management resources and advises on commercial change management.
