Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing.
• 4–8 years of experience at a law firm handling securities litigation, complex commercial litigation, or related disputes.
• Strong drafting, research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing discovery and handling substantive case responsibilities independently.
• Familiarity with federal and state court procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial, securities, shareholder, and business disputes.
• Draft and argue motions, legal memoranda, pleadings, and appellate filings.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, depositions, and e-discovery strategy.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on sophisticated litigation issues.
• Participate in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy and drive successful outcomes.
• Assist with trial preparation, witness preparation, and evidentiary matters.
• Maintain direct client contact and provide strategic guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Analyze evolving case law, regulations, and market developments affecting client matters.
