Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Account Associate to assist Account Managers in servicing Select Commercial Lines clients up to $15,000 in revenue. You will process policies, help with renewals, and coordinate with carriers while building insurance knowledge.

The role emphasizes accuracy, team collaboration, and ongoing development through USI training resources, with a focus on client service and retention goals.

Qualifications

  • 1 year+ experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
  • Must hold Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process client policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate auto id’s cards upon request.
  • Maintain accurate information in agency management systems.
  • Request information from insurance carriers such as loss runs and endorsement changes.
  • Process renewal certificates and insurance holder updates.
  • Complete online carrier rating and endorsement process.
  • Prepare summary of insurance documents and finance agreements.
  • Engage in renewal process by gathering client and carrier information and completing applications.
  • Prepare renewal proposals and participate in client meetings.
  • Invoice policies, including complex invoicing as assigned.
  • Manage carrier service center escalations by solving client issues and/or remarketing account.
  • Service a limited number of clients independently following USI best practices.
  • Maintain regional mailbox and direct emails to appropriate resource.
  • Active engagement and participation in training to perform Account Manager role.

General Description: Assist Account Managers in completing client tasks, meeting retention goals, and supporting growth for Select Commercial Lines clients up to $15,000 in revenue. Continue to develop client service skills and technical insurance product knowledge through available educational and agency resources. Independently address carrier service center client issues and manage assigned clients.

Salary Range: $65,000.00

This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 5%
